now that i have had a week of rest without a bike and have soaked up enough sun to last me through the rest of the winter, i have decided to start my blog. (from what i hear i am a few years late on this trend, but i'll try to catch up quickly!)

at the moment i am in my last day of a vacation to maui, hawaii with my family. although i've missed my bikes, it has been a great week of running, relaxing, hiking, exploring, and sunning! it was the perfect way to conclude a fun and successful cross country and cyclocross season!

being my last day in maui and with my family before i return to the cold north (that being relative since i base myself in victoria, bc) i am keeping this post short and heading out to the beach, but keep checking as i'll try to post whenever i have news!
